Due to Covid-19, Camp Friedlander has a limited amount of facilities available for reservation through the end of 2020. Each weekend, a limited number of campsites with a capacity of 10 people per site are available, as well as canoes for rent. Groups can also request time slots for the hiking trail, the orienteering course, and fishing.

Camp Friedlander is the premier Boy Scout Summer Camp program with a wide variety of merit badge options, activities for younger and older Scouts, training opportunities for adult leaders, and some of the best camping facilities in the country. Each summer, thousands of Scouts from across the nation (and the world) make Camp Friedlander their summer camp home for a fun week of learning, achievement, leadership, and Scouting at its best.

Due to Covid-19, Cub World will remain closed through the end of 2020.

During the summer months, Cub World is home to Cub Camp Adventures! and provides a fun and memorable experience for thousands of Cub Scouts. For the rest of the year, the camp serves as a great meeting and camping place for Scout units and other groups, and hosts many exciting events and activities.

As Camp Michaels continues undergoing renovations and construction, this property is unavailable for facility reservations.

Camp Michaels located near Union, Kentucky, has been welcoming Scouts from Northern Kentucky and Southwest Ohio since 1944. Throughout its history, the camp’s rustic charm has made it a favorite spot for countless unit camp-outs and events. Additionally, Camp Michaels has been the Dan Beard Council’s primary home for the National Youth Leadership Program (NYLT).

Over the last few years, the Dan Beard Council has been conducting a special fundraising campaign specify aimed at making several improvements to the property. Today, we are so excited to be able to share some big news with everyone in the Dan Beard Council family: the campaign has raised nearly $5 million from many wonderful donors and construction is now underway!

Due to Covid-19, Camp Craig has a limited amount of facilities available for reservation through the end of 2020. Each weekend, campsites are available with a limited capacity of 10 people per site.

Camp Craig is part of the Dan Beard Scout Reservation and is a great training facility and for group rentals. The camp borders Camp Friedlander and Cub World and has easy access to both.
