There are a handful of Regular Meetings that are a great place to find out about getting more involved in the Scouting Program:
-District Committee Meeting
When: First Thursday of Every Month
Where: Sporty's in the Clermont County Airport @ 7:30 pm
Who Should Come: All District Committee Members and anyone who is interested in being on the District Committee
What Happens Here?: Planning for District Events and Meetings, Prospecting for New Scouting Units and Volunteers, Sub-Committee Reporting
-District Round Table Meeting
When: Second Thursday of Every Month (NO Round Table in July)
-June and August Roundtables take place at Sycamore Park in Batavia.
Where: Grant Career Center, Bethel, Ohio
Who Shold Attend: Scout Masters, Cub Masters, Venture Advisors, Vasity Coaches, Assistant Scout Masters, Assistant Cub Masters, Assistant Venture Advisors, Assistant Varsity Coaches, Den Leaders, Committee Members and Scout Parents
What Happens Here?: Monthly announcements, Pony Express Mail, Breakout sessions for Boy Scout and Verturing Leaders, and Cub Scout Leaders with RoundTable discussions and problem solving.
-District Commissioner's Staff Meeting
When: Fourth Thursday of Every Month
Where: Clermont County Sheriff's Office, Batavia, Ohio
Who Shold Attend: Current Assistant District Commissioners, Unit Commissioners, and Round Table Commissioners. Anyone interested in becoming a commissioner or learning about what commissioners do.
What Happens Here?: Commissioner reports on how their units' are doing. Explore volunteer needs inside units and the commissioner staff. Areas of focus for the upcoming months are discussed along with problem solving for units having struggles.
