Dan Beard Council Good Scout Award Luncheon Raises $500,0000

More than 1,100 people gathered for the annual Dan Beard Council Good Scout Award Luncheon to celebrate the accomplishments of Chris Cole and raise $500,000 for Boy Scout programs.

Scouting honors Sheriff Jones, Rebecca and Todd Wilber at Spirit of Scouting event on May 3rd.

The Spirit of Scouting Breakfast is an event which recognizes community leaders that exemplifies servant leadership, scouting values and serves as a role model to young people. This event increases awareness and support in the community. Donations support local programming and outreach services for youth through the Boy Scouts of America Program.

BSA Launches 'Scout Me In' Campaign, Announces Older Youth Program Name

The BSA is making history: We are unveiling the new “Scout Me In” campaign featuring girls, as well as boys, in our iconic Cub Scout program for the first time. The campaign speaks to kids and their friends by putting them in the middle of the action. This also engages parents who are looking for ways to make the most of the time they have with their kids and help them to be Prepared. For Life.

Preparing America's Patriots featuring The Eyes of Freedom: Lima Company Memorial on May 11th

The "Preparing America's Patriots" fundraiser for Hopewell District (Warren County) is designed to increase scouting awareness, provide outreach services for those at-risk youth and continue to improve our communities through our community service projects. New this year is the Eyes of Freedom Memorial tribute to USMC; a once in a lifetime opportunity to support the BSA and our veterans.

8th Annual PLN Dodgeball Challenge on Saturday, June 9th by the Professional Leadership Network Recently Added Content

The “PLN Dodgeball Challenge” is fundraiser put on by the Dan Beard Council in conjunction with the Professional Leadership Network. Companies from across the city will come participate in a winner take all tournament hosted in Washington Park on June 9th. Funds raised from this event will go to helping send underserved youth to a free camp for both scouts and non-scouts alike.

2018 Sporting Clays Charity Event on Friday, June 15th at the Elk Creek Hunt Lodge Recently Added Content

Join us on June 15th from 10:00am to 3:30pm. Guests will enjoy an afternoon of competition and fun at Elk Creek Hunt Lodge, a world-class sporting clays resort. On the course, guests will enjoy shooting 100 rounds at more than 20 stations, mystery birds, a long bird contest and a Browning demo station. Whether you are an experienced shooter or brand new to the sport, everyone is welcome.
