The Preparing America’s Patriots fundraiser for Hopewell District (Warren County) recognizes individuals in our communities of outstanding character or those who embody the Scout Oath and Law in their daily lives. This fundraiser is designed to increase Scouting awareness and support in the Hopewell District (Warren County). Donations will support Scouting programs in Hopewell District, provide outreach services for those at-risk youths, and continue to improve our communities through our service learning projects.

HONOREES

CHARLES H. RITTGERS, PAST PRESIDENT, OHIO ASSOCIATION OF CRIMINAL DEFENSE LAWYERS

Charles H. Rittgers is Past President of the Ohio Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, Past President of the Warren County Bar Association , and a Founding Member of the National College of DUI Defense. He is also a member of the Million Dollar and Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum (groups limited to lawyers who have won million and multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements), and a member of the Ohio Association for Justice and the American Association for Justice. Mr. Rittgers is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers which is recognized as the preeminent organization of trial lawyers in North America, dedicated to maintaining and improving the standards of trial practice, professionalism, ethics and the administration of justice. Admission into the College is by invitation only.

Mr. Rittgers has been chosen by his peers as an Ohio Super Lawyer in every year since 2008. Mr. Rittgers is accustomed to handling high profile criminal and civil cases which garner local, regional and national attention. As a result, he has been asked to appear on national television shows including Dateline NBC, the O’Reilly show, Inside Edition, and CNN. Because of his vast experience, Mr. Rittgers has also been asked to teach at a major university.

ELLEN B. RITTGERS, ATTORNEY, RITTGERS & RITTGERS

Ellen B. Rittgers, listed again in Ohio Super Lawyers, was named in the Cincinnati Top 50 and Cincinnati Top 25 Women Lawyer lists. A former triathlete and devoted yogi, Ellen has been in private practice for nearly 40 years. A Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Miami University, she graduated from the University of Cincinnati College of Law in 1979. Although Ellen has experience in many areas of the law, for the last 35 years she has limited her practice to family law, notably divorce, dissolution, child custody, and collaborative law. In 2007, Ellen was elected President of the Warren County Bar Association. Ellen is a former board member for Warren County Children Services and the former Clinton Memorial Hospital.

After nearly 40 years of divorce and custody work, Ellen Rittgers continues to receive referrals from clients whom she represented decades ago as well as from lawyers, locally and beyond. Her clients include lawyers, professionals in nearly every field, high level executives, business owners , and spouses of such individuals, all of whom place matters of tremendous financial and personal value in her trust.

Ellen Rittgers has vast experience in custody matters of every kind including, but not limited to, those involving medical and school issues. She will work tirelessly to protect the interests of your children in furtherance of your rights.

Ellen has long-standing relationships with business appraisers and Certified Public Accountants and routinely handles cases involving multi-million dollar businesses and complex income analysis. Ellen Rittgers is a talented and experienced litigator with a history of good results spanning nearly 40 years.

She possesses and practices recognized and effective negotiation skills and techniques. Ellen was trained in collaborative practice in 1998 and has been a committed member of The Cincinnati Association of Collaborative Professionals or its predecessor since that time. Ellen is an active member and is committed to the collaborative process and the benefits it brings to divorcing families.

SCOTT SNOW, POLICE CHIEF, READING POLICE DEPARTMENT

Scott serves as the Chief of the Reading Police Department, a position he has held since 2008. A career law enforcement officer, he has served with Reading PD since 1994, before that he served with the Elmwood Place Police Department for four years. Chief Snow is the current president of the Shield, an organization dedicated to helping the families of officers injured or killed in the line of duty in Southwest Ohio financially.

Scott has been heavily involved in volunteer work for the Boy Scouts of America, having served as both Hopewell District Commissioner and the Dan Beard Council Commissioner, among many other roles.

Platinum Level ($5,000): As a Platinum Level Sponsor, you are providing $5,000 in financial support to the Boy Scouts of America. Diamond Level ($4,000): As a Diamond Level Sponsor, you are providing $4,000 in financial support to the Boy Scouts of America. Your investment in Scouting will result in the following measurable return: 20 event tickets; half page ad in the program; company listing in the event program; verbal recognition during the event; company logo featured in the program; company logo displayed at the event; positive community partnership with the BSA.

Gold Level ($3,000): As a Gold Level Sponsor, you are providing $3,000 in financial support to the Boy Scouts of America. Your investment in Scouting will result in the following measurable return: 16 event tickets; quarter page ad in the program; visual recognition during the event; company logo featured in the program; company logo displayed at the event; positive community partnership with the BSA.

Silver Level ($2,000): As a Silver Level Sponsor, you are providing $2,000 in financial support to the Boy Scouts of America. Your investment in Scouting will result in the following measurable return: 12 event tickets; company listing in the event program; visual recognition during the event; company logo featured in the program; positive community partnership with the BSA

Bronze Level ($1,000): As a Bronze Level Sponsor, you are providing $1,000 in financial support to the Boy Scouts of America. Your investment in Scouting will result in the following measurable return: 8 event tickets; company listing in the event program; visual recognition during the event; positive community partnership with the BSA.

Individual Ticket ($100): To attend the event as an individual, purchase your ticket for $100 for each ticket.
