Merit Badge Challenge is available to all registered Boy Scouts. This popular event improves advancement for all attending troops/crews and provides our youth the opportunity to explore vocations and new hobbies.

Each Scout has the opportunity to earn up to three merit badges. Emphasis is placed on those merit badges that lend themselves to an indoor or wintertime activity such as Chemistry, Law, Computers, Communication, and Citizenship badges. Various class schedules and merit badge availability will be posted here for each of the venues on October 22, 2018. Units may preregister and enter their scouts’ names at that time. Registration for individual scouts and the choosing of merit badges for all scouts will open on November 5th, 2018 at 7:00 pm.

This website will also include the necessary Pre-work for Merit Badges, responses to Frequently-Asked-Questions, and a copy of the registration forms. Use the class schedule matrix to help plan out your various sessions (posted Oct. 22, 2018).

Attendance at each location is limited based on the fire capacity codes for each school. Therefore the registration at one or more schools may close out before the published Registration deadline. Attendance and availability of Merit Badges is limited. So early registration is strongly recommended.

January 19 – March 9, 2019

Only $15 per Scout

(Includes a Merit Badge Challenge Patch!)

October 22nd, 2018: Classes and Schedule Matrix will be available for planning. Contingents will again be able to create unit registrations and enter the names of their scouts at this time (see tutorials below).

**Please note, this will NOT give registrants early access to classes. Please do not register your individual scout as a contingent.**

November 5th, 2018 – Class registration for BOTH contingent registrations and individual registrations will begin at 7pm.
