The Good Scout Award Luncheon is an annual event that recognizes the charitable efforts of a local business or individual. Each year a "Good Scout" is chosen for contributions that benefit families in the Southwestern Ohio and Northern Kentucky area, and presented with this award for providing resources that change lives across our community.
Our 2012 Good Scout Award Honoree is:
The event also features a nationally recognized keynote speaker as well as involvement and testimony from local Scouts. The 2012 keynote speaker is Jim Abbott, Professional Baseball Player and Motivational Speaker. Jim had a successful career as MLB pitcher despite being born without a right hand. Sponsors totally underwrite the event, so that every dollar raised goes to benefit local Scouting programs. Your attendance helps to directly support Scouting and plays a vital role in helping to build character and create a foundation of leadership for the youth of our community. Thank you for your role in helping to provide a year-around program of activities, leadership training, and community service that instills positive ethical and moral values in 34,000 young people and their families.
