PERFECT NORTH SLOPES SCOUT SKI DAY External Link

 

Enjoy a fantastic Scout discount on a day of skiing or snow tubing at Perfect North Slopes. Perfect North Slopes has a history of working with the following Boy Scout and Girl Scout Councils. These annual ski, snowboarding and snow tubing trips are a great way to enjoy winter fun with fellow scouts and family!  Contact your troop leader or council for information regarding registration and discounted pricing. All registrations are handled through your troop/council.  This is a great way to earn your Snow Sports Merit Badge from your troop leader!

Please recall that the Guide to Safe Scouting requires the use of a protective helmet for winter sports. Helmets are also available for rent.

REDS' OVERNIGHT FOR SCOUTS External Link

The Scout Night Campout! Campout Packages include your game ticket, postgame meal, movie, post-game activities in the Kroger Fan Zone, and of course the exclusive overnight campout on the field with breakfast the following morning.

Campers will need to bring campout gear to Dock 2 (Gate 2) prior to the game on Saturday, June 6. Join us in the Kroger Fan Zone for a campout meal and the kickoff to the overnight IMMEDIATELY after the game. For overnight parking information call 513-765-7600 or Central Parking at 513-946-8110. 

No tents will be permitted.


OVERNIGHT ADVENTURES AT THE NEWPORT AQUARIUM External Link

More awe-inspiring than sleeping under the stars, the Overnight Adventure Program allows groups to spend the night with the most exotic and interesting creatures. Your group will explore hidden treasures of the Aquarium and visit with unique animals from around the world before camping out among amazing sea life. You'll not only walk away the next day with an experience you'll never forget - each guest will receive a free ticket to come back with their parents and share with them what they've learned. Schools, scouts, recreation programs, churches, youth groups, families and aquarium members are invited to bring their sleeping bags and pajamas along with their curiosity and sense of adventure for a Newport Aquarium Overnight Adventure Program.

MICROSOFT AND DAN BEARD COUNCIL PARTNERSHIP

The Dan Beard Council, BSA and the Cincinnati Microsoft Store have partnered together to provide local Scouts with the opportunity to earn advancements while having fun for FREE.  As of the start of the year, Dan Beard Council launched a new initiative with the brand new Microsoft Store in Kenwood to offer free classes teaching Cub Scout Belt Loops (Computer, Photography, and Video Games) and Boy Scout Merit Badges (Computer, Photography, or Cinematography). Scouts will complete the requirements to earn their advancements in a unique way while exploring the latest in new technology!

 The Camp Friedlander merit badge and program schedule is organized to help Scouts make the most out of all the offered activities...

 

 

The 2015 merit badge and program schedule IS NOW AVAILABLE!

Most classes are 50 minute sessions, however, some of the more involved programs, such as the Archery and Climbing merit badges, require 90 minute sessions. Advanced programs such as COPE  are held in three-hour blocks. All classes, unless otherwise noted on the schedule, are scheduled Monday through Friday.

Click here to download a copy of the 2015 Merit Badge and Program Schedule sorted by merit badge. This document lists all of the times and days of each merit badge class and other scheduled programs. This information should be made available to every Scout so they can plan their merit badge choices practically.

Scouts can plan their daily activities by using the Scout Activity Record. This form will allow them to see how their schedule will look for the week with the classes they have chosen.
