CUB CAMP FAMILY WEEKENDS

Cub Scouting is a family activity, so we invite you, your Scout, and your whole family out to Cub World for a Cub Camp Family Weekend.

All of the activities, meals, and lodging are ready to go for you, compliments of our friendly camp staff. All you have to do is show up and have fun! Cub Camp Family Weekends are offered as a two day/one night session. Everyone will arrive at 5pm on the first evening and leave at 3pm on the next day. Dinner on day one and breakfast and lunch are provided on day two. Families can choose to stay in any of the four camp theme areas: the Fort, the Castle, the Mountain Man Village, or the Miner’s Camp. Each area has a different degree of camping skill, offering something for everyone. Stay in a tent with your child, or reserve a room in the Castle or Fort for your whole family.

Family Camp Adventures are geared towards fun and activity. All of the events are centered around parents and youth getting involved together.  Activities include BB gun shooting, archery, swimming, nature hikes, games, sports, campfires, and much more!

Upon your arrival at camp, group assignments will be made. If you are attending with your pack or den, we will group you with your friends. If not, you’ll get a chance to meet all new friends from other packs. Each group will have a schedule of activities to allow for the maximum amount of fun.

So what are you waiting for? You can sign up for Cub Camp Family Weekend as a parent and child, a family, or as a pack. You might also talk with your pack leaders about attending as a group – this is a great way for all the youth in the your pack to create stronger relationships.
