Part of the Scout program is learning by doing. We teach them how to overcome the challenges in front of them. This is achieved through a number of fun, outdoor activities that have values ingrained in them to help build your son’s future. Your son or daughter will receive lunch, a snack, a Challenge Camp t-shirt, a Challenge Camp bag, and transportation to and from the designated drop-off locations.

Here are just a few of the fun activities your son can expect at PNC Challenge Camp:

• Sports
• Swimming
• Archery
• Fishing
• Shooting Sports Safety
• Team Building Games
• A Nature Hike and much more!

What is Challenge Camp All About?

Our goal is to ensure that all youth can participate and benefit from Scouting.

PNC Challenge Camp, an extension of ScoutREACH, is one of the premiere camping outreach programs offered in our community. Conducted throughout the year, the purpose of PNC Challenge Camp is to build upon the character and values they have learned about throughout the ScoutREACH program via an interactive camping experience.

The youth who participate in PNC Challenge Camp do so at no cost to themselves or their families. Participants are transported by chartered bus from near their homes to our camp each day. All program materials, equipment and uniforms are provided, as well as a nourishing lunch and snacks. On Thursday evenings, parents can join at camp and share in their child’s experience during family night.
