Camp Michaels has long been the Dan Beard Council's beloved rustic camp in the beautiful back-country of Northern Kentucky. After nearly a year of gathering feedback and ideas, the results are in and now begins the creation of a master development plan. The Dan Beard Council offers great summer camp programs for Scouts of all ages. Get outdoors and experience the ultimate in Scouting at our Boy Scout camp at Camp Friedlander, Resident Camp and Fun with Son at Cub World, or one of the many district Cub Scout Day and Twilight Camps.
Camp Improvements
Major Camp Improvements are underway at Camp Friedlander, Cub World, and Camp Craig! This spring, the Cub World Fort will see major renovations, camp entrances will be paved, and many more projects will be completed. How to Reserve Camp
All usage of our camps are reserved through the Scout Achievement Center, including equipment rental, tours, and hiking. Because of high demand of our facilities and our need to know who and when the properties are being used, we require all reservations to be made with the Application for Camp Usage at least 72 hours in advance and accompanied by applicable payment.
Our camps have high usage nearly every weekend, so we encourage you to make your reservation as far in advance as possible to confirm the facilities you want.
