Boy Scout Leader Specific Training
This is the 2nd part of basic training for Boy Scout leaders.
(The first part is New Leader Essentials.)
Scoutmaster and Assistant Scoutmaster Specific
shows you how to teach boys to lead their own Troop. This course may be
presented in one six-hour session following New Leader Essentials or in three
shorter sessions on different days.
The three sessions will cover:

The role of a Scoutmaster in a Boy-Led troop

Lighting the Fire: The Outdoor Program and the Advancement Program

Keeping it going: Program Planning and Troop Administration
To complete your basic training as a Scoutmaster or Assistant Scoutmaster,
you must attend Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills.
Prerequisite for Boy Scout Leader Specific:
Be a registered adult and have taken New Leader Essentials.
Scheduled by District or Service areas.
