Helping build the family bond...
Cub Scouting is a family
activity, so we invite you, your Scout, and your whole family out to
Cub World for the camping experience we call Fun with Son. Overnight
and weekend sessions are offered throughout the summer so you can
choose the date that works best for your family.
All of the activities, meals, and lodging are ready to go for you,
compliments of our friendly camp staff. All you have to do is show up
and have fun!

What is Fun with Son?

Fun with
Son is offered as one or two-night sessions. For one-night sessions,
everyone will arrive at 5pm on the first night and leave at 3pm the
next day. Dinner, breakfast, and lunch will be provided.
For
two-night sessions, everyone will arrive at 5pm on Friday, stay through
Saturday night, and leave at 3pm on Sunday. Meals begin with Friday
dinner and end with Sunday lunch.
Families can choose to stay in any of the four camp Theme Areas.
Each area has a different degree of camping skill, offering something
for everyone. Stay in a tent with your son, or reserve a whole room in
the Castle or Fort for your whole family.

What Will We Do?
Fun with Son is geared towards fun and
activity. The
whole purpose of the program is for Cub Scouts and their parents or
family members to have fun in the outdoors. All of the events are
centered around parents and sons getting involved together.

descriptions of some of the activites Cub World has in store for you. A
typical Fun with Son schedule will include games, crafts, BB guns,
archery, swimming, nature hikes, campfires, and much more!
Upon your arrival at camp, group assignments will be made. If you are
attending with your Pack or Den, we will group you with your friends.
If not, you'll get a chance to meet all new friends from other Packs.
Each group will have a schedule of acitivities to allow for the maximum
amount of fun.

Signing up for Camp
So what are you
waiting for? You can sign up for Fun with Son as a parent and son, a
family, or as a Pack. Talk with your pack leaders about attending
Fun with Son as a group – this is a good way for all the boys in
the your pack to create stronger relationships. Visit the Dates and Fees page
