Camping facilities everyone will love...
Cub World has world-class camping facilities that will be a perfect fit
for every camper's comfort level. Each camping area has a varying
degree of primitivity to ease younger Scouts into the outdoors and
challenging older Scouts with new experiences. See the Theme Areas page for information about the four main areas of camp and a desciption of their features.

Frisch's Dining Pavilion
Meals are
served in the Frisch’s Big Boy Dining
Pavilion by a contracted food service. This large pavilion in the heart
of the camp, where everyone meets for good food, songs, and
announcments at each meal. Campers dine on picnic tables under the
pavilion and are served from two food lines. Meals include a drink
bar, salad bar, and other treats. Standing tall just outside the
pavilion is Francis, the Cub Scout Big Boy and a landmark of the
camp.
Each meal
is planned by a dietician and meets the nutrional needs of our active
campers. We strive to meet all dietary accomodations (with proper
notice) and there is usually enough seconds to go around. Each meal
include a hot entree and lunch and dinner will include an alternative
such as peanut butter and jelly for picky eaters.

The Administration Building and Health Lodge
The "Admin" building is home to the camp office, the staff and leader
lounge, and the first aid lodge, and the management office. This modern
facility offers phone service, cable, internet access, and yes, air
conditioning. This is the perfect place for leaders to take a break
from the bustle of camp and cool off in the lounge.
The camp office is manned by a staff member during all program hours to
serve the needs of our campers and leaders. The camp clerk can
help locate a Pack or a camper, help late arrivals to check in, and
other customer service needs.
The first aid lodge is there to assist with the small cuts and bruises
that can come with outdoor play, and is also the location of our first
responder for camp emergencies. Medicines are held in the lodge and
distributed to campers at mealtimes.

Showerhouses
The showerhouses at Cub
World are clean, modern, and private. A total of three showerhouses are
located throughout the camp -- one shared between the Fort and the
Castle, one shared between the Mountain Man Village and the Miner's
Camp, and one for the staff residents.
The camper showerhouses have two sides. One large side is for
youth campers with individual showers, multiple commodes and sinks.
The adult side consists of four individual rooms that older
campers will appreciate. Each room includes a commode, a shower,
a sink, and an electrical outlet.
