So much to do...
At Cub World, the fun never
stops! The programs include everyone's favorite Cub Scouting
activities, plenty of outdoor adventures, and lots of games, crafts,
and challenges. The activities are scheduled so each camper has the
opportunity to participate in each activity. The camp staff plans and
facilitates all of the programs, adding a certain amount of silliness
and excitement to each activity.

Shooting Sports
Cub Scouts love Scouting Sports, so Cub World has plenty of them. Each
Cub Scout will get to try his hand at shooting BB guns and Archery.
There are two BB ranges,
one regular target range, and a special "Action" range where campers
get the chance to shoot at moving targets and targets that spin,
crunch, and explode on impact.
The regular archery range
offers traditional target shooting. The "Action" range is a unique
archery challenge where campers will hike through the woods stopping at
several stations to try to shoot through a tire, ring a bell with their
arrow, or lob an arrow into a barrel. This is one of the most popular
areas of camp.

Swimming Pool
When the summer sun gets
hot, it's time to cool off in the swimming pool. The olympic size pool
is just the place to play in the water. A showerhouse at the pool
offers a convenient place to change clothes and rinse off before
getting in the pool. Each camper will get a chance to go swimming every
day.
The pool is manned by
professional lifeguards and is a safe, well-maintained program area.
There are plenty of pool toys and sports to easily make this a favorite
area of camp. Staff are on hand to teach campers how to swim or help
them hone their skills to earn new advancements.

Crafts
Making crafts can be a
fun way to take a break from all the action of camp and building
something new with your bare hands. The camp staff will teach campers
step-by-step how to create a craft and provide all of the materials and
tools the need to make something very cool! Many Scouts like to make
something special to bring home to mom while others like to make part
of their costume for their theme area. Either way, Scouts will be sure
to develop their creativity and enjoy the experience of making
something from scratch.

Games and Sports
Summer Camp is all about being active in the outdoors. Cub World offers
fun and games that campers will love. Some games are active and
rambunctous, some are quiet and require thought, and some involve
teamwork and using Scouting skills. Whatever the type, campers
will play all sorts of games each day.
Sports are a big part of being active too. Cub World has a sand
volleyball court, a basketball court, and obstacle course, a
bouldering wall, and a kickball field. |

The Nature Center
Learning about and appreciating the outdoors is an important part of
being a Cub Scout. Our knowledgable camp staff will teach you all sorts
of new things about the natural world at the Nature Center.
The Cub Scout Nature Trail parrallels the Little Miami river and
is one the most beautiful areas of camp. Hikes through the creeks of
Cub World will show you plants and animals you have never seen
before. And nature games and activities will teach Scouts about the
environment and how to co-exist responsibly within the natural world. |
